LexiCom allows users to securely transfer business data directly over the Internet with all of their trading partners and offers back-up contingency connections to major Value Added Networks (VANs). VL Trader: a powerful, secure communications server for small to medium-sized companies. Using certified, proven EDIINT technology, it combines the secure communications functionality of VersaLex with configuration and management tools that will allow you to efficiently handle communications with hundreds of trading partners and customers.

VL Proxy: a forward and reverse HTTP & HTTP/S proxy server installed outside the firewall or in a DMZ (demilitarized zone) that 'talks' to the VersaLex communications software, e.g. LexiCom over a single port through an internal firewall. VLProxy dynamically self-configures AS2 relationships with VersaLex through this port and does not require AS2 configuration files written to folder or directory locations outside the firewall or in the DMZ. VLProxy is included with VLTrader. It is an available add-on to LexiCom.
